Elsie de Wolfe (1865? - 1950): A pioneering professional U.S. interior decorator and author of the influential 1913 book "The House in Good Taste.
Dorothy Draper (1889 - 1969): The first successful female commercial interior decorator.
Sister Parish (1910-1994): An American interior decorator and socialite who was the first interior designer brought in to decorate the Kennedy White House.
